We offer a range of both stock and custom tags manufactured from premium grade thermal material and protected by our SafeSeal™ coating.
We have undergone a rigorous, independent testing process to ensure our tags are safe for contact with meat products. Our tags are compliant for food contact with the following regulations:
In addition our tags are free from Bisphenol A (BPA) and Bisphenol S (BPS), and are free from heavy metals, phthalates and other substances of very high concern (SVHC).
SafeSeal™ refers to the coating or varnish we use to protect the premium grade thermal material that our tags are manufactured from. This coating is critical to the food contact compliance of our tags and ensures superior product performance throughout the challenging meat supply chain environment.
Our premium grade thermal material minimises print head wear and provides crisp, dark images for the reliability of barcodes. MCC Label tags are durable, with resistance to water, plasticiser, oil, and alkaline. They have also been designed to withstand spray chilling and blast freezing.
Our tags will feed consistently through your printer, with low static and minimal abrasion on print heads. They feature an easy tear perforation, are easily tied and have the strength to stay on the carcass.
We offer both stock and custom tags. Contact us for an expert consultation to develop a custom solution for you.
We developed our metal detectable tag for the meat industry, in order to barcode and trace product further into your production process. Our tag is the only direct thermally printable metal detectable tag on the market, and has been successfully used by both meat processing and ready meal preparation clients. Our metal tag allows greater integrity and safety in the food supply chain.
We have distilled our collective knowledge and expertise into a series of comprehensive Best Practice Application Guides for meat labels. These guides are designed to provide our meat clients with an up-to-date and practical overview of how to achieve maximum printing and application performance when using our meat labelling products.
The guide specifically on our excalibur meat tag outlines the respective requirements with helpful icons to summarise the key points. Also included are practical diagrams that highlight watch-outs and application tips, hints to remember, and special storage instructions for each product. It is important to follow these guidelines to ensure that our tags work in the way they are intended.
