Covid-19 update | All five plants are open and we are following state government regulations. Capacity may become limited in NSW as LGA restrictions require.
Read on for details of our system, certifications, vision inspection technology, integrated workflow management, batch control and traceability.
Hally Labels has a comprehensive quality management system that focuses on preventative actions and continuous improvement. Our system is consistent across our four sites and is built upon our ISO9001 certification and our systematic approach to food safety management. This is supported by HACCP certification for areas where food contact products are produced.
We utilise a customised database to manage our quality system, and have procedures in place to promptly and efficiently address any concerns to ensure that the rate of non-conformance is low.
We regularly review our systems and have a program of internal, external and client audits.
Our quality system is supported by the following certifications:
We utilise in-line and offline print quality inspection technology to ensure consistency and repeatability of labels printed. This ensures that our print quality matches our clients’ expectations right from the start of the printing process. All typical printing defects can be found using this technology, including 100% text and barcode verification to GS1 standards.
Additionally we have 100% quality control vision inspection technology for pharmaceutical-grade labels.
We have sophisticated software and workflow automation for a seamless client experience. Our best-in-breed label software is CERM, Esko, WebCenter and Web4Labels. These four systems are fully integrated and automatically linked, sharing information and workflows for accuracy, speed and convenience. This includes stringent, automated procedures for version control and obsolescence. Our configuration is highly developed, constantly refined and industry-leading.
We utilise a batch control system that identifies each label product we produce and also separately each job (batch) we print. Both codes are recorded on every roll and carton associated with that batch via our seal-off and carton labels.
These codes can be matched through our manufacturing system to trace both backwards through the production and supply chain and forwards to our clients for complete traceability.
