Sponsoring BrewCon 2018
We are pleased to be a sponsor of BrewCon, the annual Conference and Trade Expo presented by the Independent Brewers Association. The conference is a significant event in building excellence and best-practice in the Australian industry.
This year the event was held in Sydney from 26 to 28 June. The ever-popular Hally Coffee Cart was a hit, pumping out coffees to keep the punters happy. The three-day program was filled with excellent seminars, events and of course the awards night – congratulations to all winners. Our team enjoyed meeting and mingling with clients and industry associates over a coffee…and while sampling a few of the winning brews. Scroll down for a slideshow of images from the event.
We showcased our latest and greatest labelling innovations for the craft beer market, including:
- Hally Personalisation
Our Hally Personalisation technology offers limitless unique designs for ultimate shelf impact. This innovative digital solution enables thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions of unique designs to be created from a limited number of original designs. This is ideal for limited edition varieties and campaigns to create an impactful shelf presence. Hally Personalisation is available for both labels and shrink sleeves.
- Shrink sleeves
On show were our world-class quality shrink sleeves, printed digitally via our Hally Personalisation software. Shrink sleeves can be used on bottles and are a great alternative method of decorating a plain can. They provide 360 degrees of branding and communication space, with a finish similar to a pre-printed can. A shrink sleeve has higher-quality graphics than a printed can and can be printed digitally – perfect for short runs and limited editions.
- Can decoration
A variety of labels were on show, beautifully decorating plain ‘silver bullet’ cans. Labelling plain cans is a great way to avoid the minimum order quantities of pre-printed cans. Plus, you have access to a far greater number of creative options through the use of materials and embellishments. Combine this with digital printing, which is perfect for short runs, multiple varieties and frequent changes, and you’ve got a flexible, efficient and effective way to package your product. - Specialty materials
We offer a vast range of specialty label materials, some of which were on display at the show. Oreti and Haast are our white and cream uncoated premium paper materials which are beautifully complemented by embellishments. Leather is our luxurious, leather-look and feel material. Combined with foiling, this is a unique and high-impact option. Flecks is a natural, brown paper with a crafty fleck through it and is perfect for a down-to-earth look.
- Embellishments
Embellishments and effects elevate your craft beer label design, adding an important finishing touch to enhance the presentation of your brand. We showcased silk screen high builds, where key design elements were highlighted via a clear, glossy, raised coating. Also on show was embossing, which creates texture by raising the surface of a chosen label area or pattern for stand-out presence. Foiling was another popular choice on display, for a blingy, luxurious look.
